Blow Up

Your flickr just got a lot better looking.

About Blow Up

flickr is a great free photo-sharing service, right?
Blow Up's goal is to make it even better.

Recently, flickr opened up a public API for developers to come up with creative and functional ways to manage and display the vast stores of flickr data.

Blow Up presents that data at any size - allowing for fullscreen views of photos as well as embedding on personal sites. Of course, if you just want to view your flickr account without downloading a thing, you can always do that too.

Blow Up was created during a break from client work at Bond Art + Science by Senior Interface Developer Jonathan Greacen. Writing code is fun; new challenges are even more fun. This challenge was to learn the API and build something that flickr doesn't already offer: presentation quality for users and portability for developers.

About Bond Art + Science

Bond Art + Science is a user experience design firm located in New York City. Founded in 2006 by four veterans of the interactive services industry, Bond serves clients in media, publishing, retail and financial services. All of Bond's employees are creative people, so when we get the chance, we like to take the time to solve problems and create solutions and products that intrigue us. While we're all super serious about what we do, we still like to play around - bondartandsciencefair.com is our sandbox.
